The Entertainment Law and Intellectual Property Section (ELIPS) of the Los Angeles County Bar Association has produced a panel program on business and legal issues in the fashion industry.
The Panel will include attorneys speaking from the law firm and in-house counsel perspective, as well as an industry trade leader, fashion company executive and a designer. The distinguished speakers will address the most salient issues pertinent to fashion law practitioners and their clients, including the extent to which intellectual property covers fashion apparel? This panel will also discuss the business of fashion, including commercial agreements such as licensing, manufacturing, distribution, agency and franchising agreements, as well as brand building and advertising issues.
