Beverly Hills, California – We are pleased to welcome Catherine McEvoy as the newest KHS attorney. A graduate of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, Catherine is a skilled young attorney that has proven to be a valuable asset to the firm.
Catherine’s practice will focus on business, entertainment and trademark litigation, and transactional matters. Prior to joining KHS, Catherine worked at Bunim/Murray Productions in the business relations department, helping to negotiate production placement deals for reality television shows including Real World, Road Rules and Bad Girls Club. After Bunim/Murray, Catherine transitioned to feature film production where she worked in the story department at both Spitfire Pictures and Phoenix Pictures
With a foundation in production, Catherine then spent a majority of her time during law school (Loyola Law School, Los Angeles) working at FishBowl Worldwide Media where she gained experience in legal clearance and negotiating production service and talent agreements.
After Fishbowl, Catherine spent time at Ginsberg Daniels LLP, where she focused on working with clients in the digital space. There, in addition to production legal, she gained experience working with multi-channel networks, and helped online “influencers” build their brands through business development.
Before joining Kramer Holcomb Sheik LLP, Catherine worked with Susan Brooks –Business Strategy Management where she had a wide range of clients and work experience including assisting with the launch of Marriott International’s digital content studio, working with Amasia Entertainment to launch its television arm, as well as assisting with traditional cable network deals on behalf of key talent.
